Midco® Aquatic Center Announces: Sanford Health as Signature Partner

The City of Sioux Falls has reached an agreement with Sanford Health to be a Signature Partner at the Midco^® Aquatic Center, contingent upon the approval of the Parks and Recreation Board and City Council. Sanford Health will be the exclusive sponsor of the 50 Meter Pool and Mezzanine, which will now be known as the “Sanford Health 50 Meter Pool” and “Sanford Health Mezzanine.”

“At Sanford Health, we strongly believe in investing in the communities we serve,” said Paul Hanson, President of Sanford USD Medical Center. “We know how beneficial the Midco^® Aquatic Center is for numerous people and we’re so proud to support it.”

The sponsorship agreement includes signage rights in the 50 Meter pool and mezzanine area. The sponsorship agreement is for ten years and has a total package value of $175,000. Sponsorship revenue will help fund operations at the facility.

About the Midco Aquatic Center

The Midco Aquatic Center is the first public, indoor aquatic center in Sioux Falls history. The multipurpose facility features a large recreation pool area with play features and water slide, a warm-water pool, a 50 Meter Pool, current channel, diving boards, bulkheads, multipurpose rooms, sun decks, concession area, elevated spectator seating for 500+, and more.
